How to accelerate Wizard dueling in pottermore, are there tricks or cheazt ? : Wizard Dueling will send us more points to our house, I suggest first practicing ONE spell (I prefer Full Body Bind) and mastering it. Once you are comfortable with that spell, go to the Dueling page where you can either a) open a challenge or b) duel another user who has opened a challenge. You will be given a list of spells where you can select the spell you have mastered. If you open a challenge, your score will be taken, and the user who challenges you will either lose by getting less points, tie by getting the same points, or win by getting the most points. Likewise, if you challenge another user, you will lose, tie, or win based on the points you get verses the points they get from their spell.

I have yet to experiment which spells are best. Of the three spell books, "Curses and Counter Curses" seem to be the most complicated - and I /assume/ doing well in these racks up more points. Those who choose basic spells from the "Standard Book of Spells" seem to lose when challenging users who use spells from "Curses and Counter Curses" as well as "The Dark Forces: Guide to Self Protection"; once again I am only assuming. It is very possible that people who have dueled more choose the "harder" spells while new players are choosing simpler ones. If you win you get 5 points. If you tie, both players get 5. If you lose, you get zero points; but hey - you didnt lose any! (in article of : wizard dueling in pottermore, are there tricks or cheat )
When actually dueling - the aim of the game is to accurately press/click in order to form the pulsating ring to form around the letter. The more centered the rings are around the letter, the better your score is. In addition, pressing/clicking the letter when the ring is at its largest diameter gives a better result. What makes the game tricky is that with each "stroke" of the wand, the bolt of light changes speed and direction from one letter to the next. Thus, I reiterate that it is important to practice ONE spell before dueling with it so that you can familiarize yourself with the timing and be able to accurately press/click the letters.
